"you have crappy knees". THAT was the diagnosis from the orthopedic doctor after he took x-rays of my knees. have been having so much pain, especially when i AM SLEEPING. He tells me I need new knee replacemnents but no one in their right mind will operate on me with all my health issues. blood pressure will bottom out due to my autonomic dysfunction and I will not survive the surgery. Doctor says i NEED TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH IT.

I suppose you don't have much choice but to live with it. Have you tried physio, glucosamine, warm water exercise? Those things help me a lot. Maybe they'd help you?

thanks. got a 2nd opinion with my primary who agrees. even if I did find a doctor in pa. to do the surgery and all went well in their hands, the neuropathy would continue to breakdown the tissue around the knee replacement and chances are with my immune healing problem, I would not heal well enough to walk and would wind up in a wheel chair alot sooner. I think I will let things be status quote.
