Finally a + HPT- 9/13/07 - Due in MAY!!!

Close Miscarriage
We had been TTC over 2 years when we miscarried our 1st pregnancy in March of 07. It was a hard loss for my DH and I so we joined this site in hopes to find the support and comfort we need at this time.

Close Hyperthyroidism
In Sept. 03 I was dx with Hyperthyroidism. I had been off an on medicine for a few years following my diagnosis but now my body is in some type of repression state. I have not had any reaccuring signs for a few years now.

- Methimazole Working / Worked
- I was allergic to the generic brands of this medicine but when I was put on Methimazole it worked great. My body stopped it's shaking and I began loosing weight quickly.
Open Pregnancy
Due May 22nd 2008. After 3 cycles on Femara we're finally PREGNANT!!!!

Open Other Heart Problems
Type: Mitral Valve ProlapseMVP/ASD. Ever since I was a baby I've freaked my parents out by passing out. Previously I had been so exhausted from any type of exercise that I'd just collapse. As a child I was tested but they didn't find anything until high school when I passed out and hurt myself during the fall. My father too has MVP.
Open Infertility
TTC for a few years with not much luck. On (9/13/07) round 3 of Femara, we got a POSITIVE htp!!!! It worked WooHoo!!!!! Excited but nervous.

- Basal Thermometer Working / Worked
- Femara Working / Worked
- 8/18 round 3:5mgs - POSITIVE! 7/18 round 2:5mgs - neg. 6/27 round 1:2.5mgs - neg.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Taking a prenatal with folic acid and a seperate B6 vitamin. B6 helped lengthen my LP!
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Painful but it showed my tubes were clear!
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes they'd work and sometimes they didn't work. Who knows.
Open Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I went to see a fertility specialist 5/31/o7 and found out I have PCOS. What the heck is PCOS and why didn't they find this before?

We had our first m/c in early March 07. In May 07 we discovered I have PCOS, and then in June I began taking Letrozole. Now, 3 cycles later and we're PREGNANT!!! I'm still very worried though.
