I am a 47 year old homemaker, who does alot of volunteer work with the elderly. My husband Don and I have 4 children: Sarah, Chris, Diana & Pat. Philosophy on life: Live each day to the fullest. Passions: Family and friends.
Gardening, anything done outdoors, my pets (3 dogs, 4 cats and 3 horses), walking (just rediscovered it) and flea markets on Saturday morning.

I have always had a problem with my weight during my childhood and adult life. I was always the one standing on the side lines looking in. On Jan 26, I stepped on the scales and cried, for I was almost 300 lbs. On Jan 29, I changed all of that. I started counting every calorie and exercising. The first week I lost 9 lbs and since then a total of 22. I am now going to Curves and on my way to a new me.
I have always been over weight and I have recently topped the scales at nearly 300 lbs. Jan 29, made the decision to change this. Have lost 22 lbs so far, with the help of eating a healthy diet, no sodas and exercise. Am now looking for extra support besides my loving family.
