Hi Shannon, Welcome to the site...my husband was diagnosed last year at 47, fortunately he has no lesions as yet...he is extremely ill though and disabled from the side effects. I wish the best recovery for your husband and I am sorry you got to join our club...no one wants to be here, yet we all need support...I hope we can provide that for you. Best wishes Muriel

Close Multiple Myeloma
My name is Shannon & I am 35 years old. My husband is turning 49 in June and was diagnosed with MM in late Feb. We have 2 boys, 4 & 6. We are devestated and I am very pleased to find a forum like this so I can reach out to others. Scott has a few lesions on his skull, one on a rib bone & some "punch outs" on his long bones. Scott's MM presneted itself with severe anemia, weight loss and kidney failure. He is on dialysis right now and is doing better shdl for a sct in July/aug.

- mspike from 42 - 31 in 1 month
- Thalidomide Working / Worked
- kidney failure
- Velcade Working / Worked
