I'm 38, originally from Southern California and moved to Texas in 2006. So now I'm learning a whole new way of life which has been interesting. My motto in life is "just go with the flow" and am trying to put that to use dealing with medical issues. Would like to meet a few friends who don't give the pitty party but rather just 'get it' and can understand why some days I just move a little slower.

I am from Southern Cally also! And I am in Conroe TX now. It just nice to see someone from home and also near by that is a strong personality like myself in here.
