Everything I have been working so hard for the last month will come together tomorrow with any luck. We have our first team meeting for relay for life at 4:30pm tomorrow.
I'm so excited!
After tomorrow we will officially be a Relay For Life team! And we will be able to register October 7th. We already have 4 of our required teams member registration paid. Hopefully we will have it all tomorrow. If not we have til the 7th of October to get it all together.
We have all worked so hard to get sponsors and donations together and now we can send out thank you cards and receipts. But that's not all. The Relay isn't until May of 2009 so we will have one fundraiser every month except January to help raise money.
Life at home is good. My men are helping me clean house today. We already cleaned the kitchen. Which was a DISASTER since we had some friends over for a little dinner party last night. OUCH! BIG MESS!
I could have cleaned it last night but afterward it was already late and we were exhausted! Dinner was great. We had an old southern favorite of my husband's.
I made enough to feed an army!
The menu was:
White Beans, Cornbread, Fried Potatoes w/Onions, Sweet Tea, Coffee, and Watermelon for dessert.
We all ate enough that I'm pretty sure we all felt sick afterward!

I am glad the Relay for Life is coming together. That is such an awesome thing. Have fun cleaning. I need to get to that as well.
