Close Anxiety
I have been suffering from anxiety attacks/panic attacks(depression came later) since my very 1st attack on New Years Eve, at my boyfriends house( who is my hubby of 14 years) I didn't know what was going on. I called some family members to pick me up, but the ones I called were to intoxicated. I called 911 I thought I was dying, and couldn't breathe, and my heart was gonna bounce right out of my chest. They couldn't help me cause I was a minor.My whole life has changed since my 1stA/A18yrs ago
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- Its helpful all the time, but there has been a few times where it hasn't helped at all.
- Breathing Exercises Working / Worked
- It depends on how high your anxiety is at the time, it can be helpful.
- BuSpar Not Working
- Was a past med I tried didn't like the way it made me feel, was taking off of it.
- Hypnotherapy Not Working
- Tried it, didn't work at all. Plus that was a long time ago.
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- It worked when I was taking it, I was taking off of it, due to how addiciting it can be. My doctor didn't like that Med.
- Luvox Working / Worked
- Was a past med, (I believe this is prozac?) Worked well for me, I changed doctors at that time, and he thought I would be better on something else, which worked good too.
- Paxil Not Working
- Was a past med it didn't work well for me.
- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- I try most of the time to have a good attitude, and be positive.
- Valium Somewhat Helpful
- Doesn't work for me.
- Xanax Not Working
- This was a past med I had taken, and I didn't like the way I felt when taking it, so I was taken off of it.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionWith my anxiety disorder/panic attacks going on for 18 years, it has caused me severe depression.
Treatments
- Celexa Working / Worked
- I have taken this med and it worked well for a couple years then it seemed to not work anymore, thats why I was changed to what I take now.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- I have read some books on this and it can be helpful.
- Desipramine Not Working
- A past med I took, didn't work.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Works well.
- Elavil Not Working
- A past med I took didn't work,
- Paxil Not Working
- I tried this many mnay years ago, it didn't work well for me.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- I try to keep a good attitude, and positive thinking.
- Prozac Working / Worked
- Worked very well for me.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Counsling helps, it depends if your insurance covers it, or how much the visit is.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- It seems to be working well so far.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- It depends on the family members who understand or the ones that critize. I have a few friends who accept me the way I'am.
- Writing Working / Worked
- I like to write poetry, it helps me.
- Zoloft Not Working
- This med was the worst I had ever tried, I cried the whole time taking it, and couldn't calm down, my doc changed it.
Open Endometriosis
I have endometriosis, I had it ever since I was 16 years old. I have had the surgery 4 times to laser the endo. My 1st surgery was a sucessful, cause the doc said in 4 months you should be pregnant, and I was....with my beautiful son...who is 12. My hubby and I would love to have at least 1 more, we would be so happy.
Treatments
- Extended-Cycle Birth Control Working / Worked
- I took seasonale for a while, it helped with the pain.
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- If this is what I think it is, I had it done 4 times.
- Laser Surgery Working / Worked
- Had this 4 times. The 1st one was successful, thats how I have my beautiful boy.
- Ortho Evra Working / Worked
- I used this for a few months.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- Had 4.
