About Me
Almost divorced - back in my home town in UK after living in NZ for 5 years. Want to go back to NZ - visa runs out in December. Diagnosed bipolar three years ago. Still struggling with controlling it, especially in relation to keeping a job.

Going ok, went into work Thursday and Friday. Not great but not awful either. Today was good. Yay me!

I am so tired. Didnt go into work again today and am worried - I really need to go in tomorrow to keep my job. I am so annoyed but am so tired.

Went in every day - no negative thoughts to battle with.
Am very pleased with the was prozac seems to be working!

Close Bipolar Disorder
Treatments
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- 30mg per night
- Prozac Too Soon to Tell
- Have just upped to 60mg from 40mg daily. Am feeling sick at the moment.
- Lithium Not Working
- Hated this. Hated the blood tests too.
- Seroquel Not Working
- Made me really tired and got leg pain/jumps
- Celexa Not Working
- No effect on me.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Paxil Somewhat Helpful
- Ativan Working / Worked
- I know this as Lorazapam. I take it when my head gets too busy or I get very anxious. Is a quick fix and works well.
Close Eating Disorders
I am on Prozac to help my Bipolar but am hoping it will help my binge eating too. My current docs not aware of eating problem.

- Paxil Not Working
- Prozac Too Soon to Tell
- Didnt know this could work for eating disorders too - will wait and see what happens
