    About Me

    I have been suffering from bipolar for years and I have only recently been diagnosed with bipolar II. I am glad to finally know the truth but it has come at a high price as it has cost me my marriage. I have hope for a better future. I am on Zyprexa, Lithium, Trazodone and Effexor. I am worried that I am being overmedicated and I hope to adress this with my psychiatrist soon. In my free time I enjoy ballet and jazz. I train nightly and I still perform occasionally at the ripe old age of 32. I have a graduate degree in French Literature and I am a teacher.

    Interests

    Dance, my friends, (the ones who stayed), social justice and activism, animal welfare, and cats. Yes, I love cats.

      Hang in there. I know it can be hard. I know I was taking trazodone and that wore off and didnt work for me anymore. I am now on lunesta and that is working for me

      Have you heard of a man name Jarred Blancard? He was in a few movies back in the nineties and now he supposed to be a chef at a restaurant in Vancouver.

      thanks so much! 3 days now! hitting 90 meetings in 90 days! i have my schedule planned out for it! im very excited! ive been detoxing myself at home, i did it in the hospital last time.....i dont wanna lay in a bed getting valium shots every four hours for 4 days! that was hell! so im doing it pretty well! hope you have an awesome day! your very special! much love, catrina

      Ativan Working / Worked
      It is nice to havbe when I can't sleep even on 100 mg of Trazodone.
      Lithium Working / Worked
      THis one seems to work for me.
      Zyprexa Working / Worked
      Not working. Makes me even more hyperactive and my insomnia is worse. I have a hard time faslling asleep and then I can't get up in the morning. Has made me gain five pounds and I feel comatose on it. Apparently I get to stop it once the lithium officially kicks in! Yeay
      Effexor Working / Worked
      Dont know
