My son is 21 and has aspergers. It does get better.I used to hide his medication when he was suicidal. It breaks your heart to watch your child suffer. The teen years are so difficult to begin with, but being a little different makes it so much harder.Is your son willing to read about aspergers or go online to aspergers groups? Just be there as much as you can...talk about how his feelings aren't that much different from others. I know my son has a difficult time understanding or acknowledging his emotions, but he writes a lot. It seems to help sometimes. Take care of you too..My son and I are each other's strength most of the time..it is a continuing struggle,God gave us a challenge, he/she has faith that we will all overcome the obstacles.

Close Conduct Disorder
My son has all the symptoms of a conduct disorder, without the diagnosis. He actually has high functioning aspergers.
Close Asperger Syndrome
I have a 15 year old son with Asperger's . The last two years have been the worst years of both of our lives. He is very depressed and suicidal. I just want to help him and I am stuck. He wants the acceptance of others and isn't getting it.
