  Here's to you, GoldenKatie. I've been on dialysis for about 8 months and wouldn't wish it on anybody. I hope you can avoid it as it is the most challenging thing I've ever dealt with. I am alive however, and rejoiced in being able to swim with my beautiful 9-year-old daughter today for the first time since I fell ill. People said every day is a blessing but folks on dialysis actually earn every day. Anyway, here's a hug. You deserve it. George White

  I had my kidney biopsy in Jan, believe me, it was no big deal. You lie on your tummy and are given some medication, so you really don't remember the procedure. You are pretty sore afterwards. (I was for about a week) All in all, I can't say I had pain. I had dialysis for a while, but now am off. I am at 60% function. Good luck to you!! Let me know how it goes! Judy
