Close Miscarriage

A few weeks after returning from my Jamaican honeymoon, I found out there was a stow away. I was pregnant and due July 23. On Christmas I told my family that I got them a gift but they couldn't hold it for another seven months. My mother and best friend cried. Life couldn't get better. When I was 13 weeks and 3 days pregnant I had my first ultrasound. I can still hear the techs voice when she said "I'm sorry."

D&C Working / Worked

I originally chose to miscarry naturally but I started hemorrhaging. I didn't think I was going to make it. My doctor gave me medicine to stop the bleeding and an IV to keep my blood pressure up. He gave me a D&C. It worked and I had almost no bleeding afterwards( thank goodness since I lost so much blood to begin with). I felt relieved after the D&C because I didn't have to worry about my health. I survived. I had a light period about a month after my bleeding completely stopped.
