is feeling OK
About Me
Hi my name is Kim. I am a 40 year old married female with a 17 year old son. My son and I were e in a car accident 5 years ago and since that time have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, chronic pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, sleep deprevation, and chronic fatigue syndrome. My husband is very supportive of my son and myself. It has been a hard fight that i often find myself asking why do i keep fighting. I am very limited on things i can do, just basic housework is a major chore. I feel very inadequate and worthless. I could really use some friends who can relate to my situation and maybe we can help each other and be a support for each other. Kim in Indy
Interests
movies, reading, sewing, playing games on pogo ( a game website) i like doing alot of things but i have had to give up so much because of my condition.

Close Fibromyalgia
Hi, my name is Kim and I live in Indiana. About 5 years ago my son and i were in a car accident and now suffer from chronic pain syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, back pain , neck pain, depression, anxiety. I am a stay at home mom and most of the time am alone. I get very lonely and depressed because of my condition. I would really like to make some new friends who can relate to how i feel and would love to have support and be a support to others. Kim in Indy
Treatments
- Adderall Somewhat Helpful
- So far it is working pretty good. It does help with my memory, concentration and focusing issues. I also seem to have more energy while taking it.
- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- This is wonderful. Although you have to take baby steps, over-doing can be harmful.
- Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful
- I have taken this medication for years. It is helpful but a little advice, it can knock you for a loop, so don't plan on doing alot of driving or handling alot of machinery.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- Cymbalta works well. It helps in a variety of ways. It helps with pain, depression etc. Good thing to try.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Heat helps alot, however it really depends on the condition i am in. Sometimes ice works better.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- When I get in an extremely bad way I have to go to the emergency room and they give me morphine and steroids through an iv.
- Neurontin Not Working
- This particular medicine did not work to well on me.
- TENS Somewhat Helpful
- I own one of these devices. Alot of times it is very helpful, however there are times when it irritates it more.
Close Chronic Pain
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Somewhat Helpful
- actually chiropractic treatment can work either way, i have found that it depends on the day and how i am feeling.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- this medication works well, it helps with pain but also with focusing and concentrating
- Flexeril Working / Worked
