Close Tinnitus
About two months ago I started getting noises in my left ear from inside my head. At the beginning I thought it would stop, but it got worse. I started reading about it, and learned about Tinnitus. I Went to the family doctor who prescribed Xanax for anxiety, ginkgo biloba. The xanax seems to help sometimes decreasing the loudness of the noise. But only sometimes. As far as the ginkgo, I guess I have to take it for longer in order to obtain a benefit. The doctor told me I might have to learn to live with it. He referred me to an ENT. I went to one in Ecuador, because I went there for vacations about a week ago. He recomended Achre Tinntus Formula, he was more positive, I have just started taking it. My condition has been kind of intermitent, I have worse days and I have better days, the noise is constant. I wear an mp3 plyaer almost all of the time with radio music. That distracts it. I am afarid that it would get worse, and how worse it maight get. I have not done any testing as an MRI nor any other. I am trying to learn to live with it, thinking that there are worses things that may have happned to me, but still do not know the cause, or if I will ever find something that will consistently give me relief. My noise changes from like one thousand crikets all singing at the same time, but tolerable, to a constant piiiiiiiiiii. It get a lot worse when I am by myself and at night when I need to rest. I always sleep with headphones and music playing, which is very unconfortable, beacuse I am the kind os person who before the tinnitus nedded total silence to get to sleep. It is a boomer!!
