Stress
Well I think all of the stress from the process of trying to get GBS is taking a toll on me. I have been sick …

Saturday, I was having trouble breathing so we went to the hospital and they sent me to the clinic. I got 2 breathing treatments and was told it probably was due to the poor air quality with all the fires around the state. It was suggested that I get a humidifier, and keep my car and house windows closed. I left dr's to get something to eat and to the store for the humifier. Was home about an hour or so when it was time to go to sleep. I couldn't sleep. The tightness in my chest was worse and I couldn't lay down or anything. At 12:30 am I woke my husband up to take me to the hospital again. This time, seen in ER, I was given another breathing tx, and some prednisone. Well, the prednisone did the trick. They also did a chest x-ray, it was ok, and some labs to be sure I didn't have a blood clot somewhere, I didn't. Dr said to use all my meds as prescribed and to use my fast-working inhalers every couple of hours for a while. I have been ok since. Still not breathing 100%, but there are no sx of crisis. Thank God for that. Went to work this morning and did fine. I know that I am in the palm of God's hand, but sometimes it seems I go from one health malady to another without much-if any-time in between. We are trying to get me stablized with the asthma and reduce the steriod inhaler I am taking so we can see if the adrenal insufficiency is due to too much steriod in my body. At this rate I am not going to be able to do that. So we still don't have a primary dx for the AS.
Hope you all are having a good day. God bless, luv, d
