Close Tourette Syndrome & Tic Disorders
My youngest child is Danny and he is the light of our lives! He has had a variety of healthy issues in his 6 years of life but that doesn't change what a wonderful young man he is! He had seizures for almost a year when he was 2--those miraculously went away on their own. He was very sickly in 2007 and they speculated he had Lupus--some blood tests and many symptoms support that but there has been no diagnosis yet--he has been fairly healthy "autoimmune-wise" for the last several months. But,over the last few months he has been exhibiting several different types of "tics" and they have been pretty severe at times. We saw a wonderful doctor recently and again, we have to wait and see how he will progress--once again praying these too will go away! I guess all these things just make him who he is and make us love him even more!

I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroid Disease after my second child 11 years ago. Prior to diagnosis I suffered with fatigue, depression, anger and various illnesses. I go for blood work every 4-6 months and am currently on 112mcg of Synthroid.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- Have had to change dosage about 6 times over the years but overall working well.
