About Me
I am the mother of an eight year old daughter that recently started pulling her eyelashes out. I am beside myself. She is under the care of a pediatrician now, and together we are trying to combat and alter what has now become a habit. We have a normal loving family realationship. My husband works full-time in the Graphic Arts field and I am a stay at home mom. I have a son who is five. I am looking for support from people in my situation. Thank you.

Close Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling)
I am a stay at home mom with a loving husband and two beautiful children. We are a normal loving family. Both my husband and I are born again christians. About two months ago I realized my 8 year old daughter has been pulling out her eyelashes. We have been to the pediatrician and together are trying to break the habit. Her pediatrician does not feel that a physchologist would help at this point. I am beside myself. Any fresh ideas to help my beautiful daughter?
