Today I went to work and had to leave Fred (my husband) home alone again. I hate doing that because his meds keep him so confused kind of in a cloud I guess. I worry about him all day and call him 5 or 6 yimes aday.Alot of the time I wake him up. Hospice upped his meds. today.He is now taking 20mg ofmethadone 3 times a day and100mg of oxicotin every hour thats p.r.n. and sometimes he dosen't need it but he does most of the time. My oldest daughter (25) sit down with him tonight and for the first time told him thank you for always being ther for her and our grandson. She told him she thought of him as dad and she loved him she has never said any of this to him before. It made all of us cry.I thought that was really cool! I have been telling her never assume someone knows how you feel always tell them and tomorrew may be to late. Kinda nice to know she listens to me.I thought that was a good way to end the day.
