What a week. I quit smoking last Sunday a day earlier then I planned. I think I have missed Elvin more this week then …
Well this week I've learned that I'm still vulnerable ...
I've always been strong the first week and a bit of stopping smoking, it is week 2 and 3 that are the biggest challenge. I've never made it beyond week 3 to know what happens. Last week, I had a bit too much to drnk and I completely lost self control. I had lasted 12 days, and yet the sweet taste of Australian red wine almost ended it all.
I was at the point where I could smell flowers in the air... flowers that were 50 feet away! I can't remember knowing such simple pleasures.
I don't want to go on and on because I don't honestly know what the week ahead holds. What I do know though is that this is a wonderful site. not smoking is a blessing, and we have so much to learn about ourselves it isn't even funny.
For another week... stay stong. God bless... and do this for you.
Jason ;)

I don't know maybe 50' is a tiny bit exaggerated... I was driving down a side street and the only flowers in sight was a tree quit a ways away... I just guestimated 50' :) Either way it's a beautiful thing and I'm just so happy I quit smoking! It seems to be getting easier now!
