Feeling strong and happy..Why? (love lists-for that sense of control) so here goes...
1-spoke to chairperson of a volunteer committee I am on and got rid of one job that was weighing me down. It wasn't mine to begin with, and I wound up in that "broker" position, you know, trying to help "get it done"....so, that's done for me....
2-I'm clearer about the pieces that I actually DID make a committment to do...
3-Had time to check my e-bay store out and send out jewelry, update listings etc etc
4-of course, caught up on DS friends, answered messages, sent thanks and salutations, and just plain brain-stormed! Love that!!
5-Napped-cooked-chipped away at piles of papers and laundry
6-PLAYED WITH MY DOGS
7-managed to fast long enough to have my blood tests done so that I can make my apptmts with all post-gastric bypass doctors...that has to be maintained in order to make sure that I am on target with all nutrients etc. My surgeon tends to judge me by how close I am to having the "next" surgery....tummy tuck and God knows what else he anticipates doing......however, I am on a different page....I want to maintain, get better at living with non-food rewards, and re-start my EXERCISING......I repeat that last point for emphasis.....RE-START MY EXERCISING.......
8-called a not-so-close friend who just recovered from a broken ankle and now fell and needed surgery on her knee....I feel better, knowing that I called and let her know I was thinking about her..
9-Someone I see fairly regularly was recently diagnosed with and treated for colon cancer...So I asked her if I could pitch in and help her with any "daily chores". She isn't too comfortable being given to, or vulnerable, but I'm glad I spoke to her. Hopefully the kindness registered. That was the whole point. Spread that love around, I always say.
GOD, that's enough.....time for WORK....hope the drama is low and the sales are high today. Bye!

So glad you're feeling better! I love lists too...they keep me on track and organization is key for me to feel productive. :)
