goal update
i toatlly forgot to be updating sorry guys, but the first month is over i'm still eating to the best i cna maybe …
I completely forgot all about this until I received a message. I have been so busy with the move and unpacking that I haven't had time to think let alone do anything else.
I did however start seeing an acupuncturist about 2 weeks ago. They are helping me with my hormones, metabolism, stress and slepping. I slept all day yesterday. Literally. Like I was up mybe 3 hours the entire day. I fell aleep around 4pm, woke at 9pm and dosed off again at 10 pm. I then awoke this morning at 10 am. Guess my body needed all that rest. Today I woke up so refreshed. Oh my god, I haven't felt refreshed from slepp in so many years. I look forward to getting restful sleep from now on.
I have also changed my diet and the children's diets. We are eating healthy portions. We are eating wheat instead of white. We are also eating flax seeds with our meals.
So far so good. The thing that th e acupuncturist told me was that people run around and eat without paying attention. I didn't realize how many meals we did this until we tried to stop doing this. Like no standing, talking, walking, reading, watching tv, driving while eating a meal. Also, no more iced cold drinks. We are drinking more teas. Trying to get less sugar, carbs, and sodium.
I am stoked about all these changes, and so far I feel it is the right choice for all of us.
