Today is my first birthday after my son's death. He used to tease me about it being only 1 week after Mother's Day. Oh Jamie, I miss you sooo---. My best friend since 4th grade is taking me and my "mom-in-law" out for lunch so it should be a pleasant day. My husband ordered flowers and tomorrow we are going for a drive and lunch. I am trying to be happy but it is such a struggle! Still, I feel a little better today--and I am taking one day at a time!
