my husband and i have no intimacy i really miss him. once i fell over the side of the bed my leg is heavy and it took me over. that was the end of that. he tried to make fun of it lady overboard. ALL good men to their duty station general quarters

My husband is 43 and had a major stroke. I have 2 children and am trying to deal with the changes in his behavior. I miss my husband. I'm under so much stress. I don't know what to do. It has been 4 months now and he is getting better slowly. I miss our relationship. I miss my husband

Treatments
- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- Progress not perfection. Stive each day to get better and work the steps
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- My life line. Without AA meetinng I would drink. Tried it 8 years ago. I replapsed.
- Cold Turkey Not Working
- Stopping drinking isn't the hard part its staying stopped and if you want to stay stopeed you have to change. Drinking is just a symptom of a deeper problem.
- Sleep Somewhat Helpful
- Don't let yourself get too tired, too hungry or too lonely. Sometimes rest helps
