    I'm a 48 year old gay man. I'm single but open to dating, though this HPV thing has complicated things. I've kept the HPV diagnosis secret from all but one friend and feel I need to reach out for more education and support. I enjoy weekend trips and evening walks.

      I was diagnosed in May 2007 and had the warts removed at that time. I've been without symptoms since then. I've been celibate, as I don't want to expose others to HPV. I don't know when I contacted HPV. I haven't told anyone other than a friend living far away. I realize I need more support and healing, as I feel surely nobody will ever want to be intimate with me again. I want to work on this...which is why I'm joining DailyStrengty
