    Liz (08/29/08)

Hi there, I was very active before my twin pregnancy (running, swimming, yoga) and was lucky enough to continue that way throughout the pregnancy. I had my boys at 38 weeks (both just under 6 lbs.) I'm only 5'3" and I gained 40 lbs. even with all that activity. I feel for you being an active person and not being able to get out of bed and then on top of it all, being told you are gaining too much weight! It's probably because doctors see lots of women gain way, way too much during pregnancy and then they stay overweight for the rest of their life. Since you are active, you will get right back into it after your boys are born and believe me, you will be plenty active! Start looking for a good double running stroller now so you can take those boys on the road and get back running when you're ready. Best of luck to you, Liz
