About Me
I'm a pagan 30-something wife and mom of three kids. I have adhd, bipolar disorder, dissociative identity disorder, ptsd, clinical depression, anxiety, migraine headaches, asthma, fibromyalgia and endometriosis. I am an executive site admin for a parenting website, and I love my job! My friends are my chosen family.

Close Asthma
Type: OtherI was mildly asthmatic as a child, somewhat outgrew it as a teen, but it came back as an adult while I was in the military. It's now moderate.
Treatments
- Advair Somewhat Helpful
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- My preferred rescue inhaler. Always has been. Only drawback is the fact it causes me to be jittery/shaky for a while.
- Asmanex Somewhat Helpful
- Couldn't remember to use the inhaler regularly.
- Flovent Somewhat Helpful
- Was helpful, but I couldn't remember to use it regularly, and I didn't like the taste.
- Pulmicort Working / Worked
- QVAR Working / Worked
- Singulair Working / Worked
- Best medication I've ever been put on. It controls the asthma with few to no side effects.
- Theophylline Working / Worked
- Used this as a young child, I vaguely remember that it caused major headaches for me.

Was diagnosed w/ TMJ about 2 years ago.

- Ritalin Not Working
- Ritalin helps for a little while, but when it wears off, I get STUPID, as in can't remember my own name stupid.
- Strattera Working / Worked
- Strattera has been the best treatment for me.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Caused me to become depressed and emotionally unstable.

Open Self-Injury
I have been SI'ing since 6th grade at the latest (I'm now 30). I started picking at the acne on my arms until they scarred, and moved to cutting and using needles/safety pins in high school and beyond.

- Talking to others seems to help, as I SI in reaction to stress.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Talking things out help me de-stress, so there's less desire to SI

Joined the US Navy 09/95, discharged for health reasons 06/96, married into the Navy, am now a 40% service-connected rated from the VA

Came out to myself and close friends as bisexual about 8 years ago. have not come out directly to my family, although I am open about my sexuality in my online profiles, at least one of which (myspace) two of my brothers and a sister-in-law have all seen.
