About Me

Diagnosed with FM Nov. 07, but have been suffering from chronic pain syndrome, depression, anxiety, sleep deprivation, chronic migraines and chronic fatigue syndrome for over 5 years. It all started after a head on collision. The man who came in my lane was killed instantly and thats something that will never leave my mind........My parents have stood by me wonderfully with their prayers and support. I had worked in the school system with children with disabilities for 14 years until the accident. I tried to take a years leave of absence to "get better" and was told I had to resign as I could no longer do the lifting required for the job. I am now on disability and am missing the life I had...each day is a entirely new experience with this disease. I used to travel a lot. The west coast in the US is my favorite destination. It depresses me to know that I'll likely never get back there now....I owned my own home, worked full time and was raising my two girls on my own....I can't imagine being able to do any of that on my own now.....my parents have saved me so many times!

Interests

prayer, sewing, crafts. Many more interests involving physical activity that I can't do anymore....Downhill skiing, water skiing, dancing, bike rides, travel, etc and so on........sigh. I had always dreamed of owning my own motorcycle....but am coming to terms that it isn't going to happen...
