I think I must have had fibro for many years but it got really bad after a severe case of flu that turned into microplasma pneumonia. I went to a few different doctors but none of them knew what was wrong with me.After 11 years I have finally got a definite answer from a wonderfull doctor in Australia who has put me on Lycria. It works but with noticable side effects. My problem is I live in Germany but with only a limited ability to speak the language (thanks to fibro forgetfullness).
I was diagnosed with Celiac in 1994, and stayed on the diet for 12 months. Then I met my husband and we started sailing around the world for 8 years, this made it impossible to have a gluten free diet. Since then I have not gone back to the diet and now I'm having medical problems such as anaemia and bowel problems. Now I have to have a colonoscopy!
