Close Pancreatitis

I first got pancreatitis in 2000. I was in the military at the time and was hospitalized for ten days. then I was in the hospital again two months later. In Oct of 2002 I was medically discharged from the military for chronic pancreatitis. They medically retired me. I was 26 at the time. Now I am 31 and doing ok. I am still hospitalized a couple times a year though. I have not been part of a support group before and thought it would be good to try something like this.

Treatments

Pancrelipase Working / Worked

the enzymes are working better than some other one I was on. I am on creon 10 now.

Methadone Somewhat Helpful

It is ok. I was on some other pain killers they worked better. I was just not wanting to get hooked on them. I felt like I might. I was scared because I know people who were on long term pain treatments and they got addicted to them and were over using them.
