Close COPD & Emphysema
I was diagnosed with COPD 2 years ago. I'm oxygen 24/7 and many medications. Feels like a death sentence
Treatments
- Advair Not Working
- Salmeterol exacerbates my symptoms.
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- Have to use much more than the recommended dose.
- Duoneb Working / Worked
- Foradil Working / Worked
- Helped, but since my condition is pre-existing insurance won't cover it. I can't afford it.
- Serevent Not Working
- again allergic to this one.
- Spiriva Working / Worked
- also can't afford this one although it did help some
- Xopenex Somewhat Helpful
- Seems to take longer to work than albuterol.
Close Alcoholism
149 days sober, the longest I've gone without drinking in at least 15 years.

- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- working the first 4 currently.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- Detox Somewhat Helpful
- Outpatient Treatment Program Working / Worked
- I was referred to an excellent outpatient program.
- Residential Treatment Center Working / Worked
- Big help, I had never been in a rehab facility. Just hospitalized for detox and sent home. Usually picked up beer on the way home.
Open Anxiety
I've suffered anxiety and panic attacks since childhood. Currently my medication are helping immensely.
Treatments
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- Working very well for me. But I do take a very large dose.
- Positive Thinking Too Soon to Tell
- Still working on this one.
