      I went into the ER on a morphine drip because it was so bad. A dermatologist there figured it out. It had earlier been diagnosed as poison ivy and black widow bites, etc. It took 6 months for that flare-up to go away. I am paranoid now.

      Treatments

      Clobetasol Working / Worked
      Takes about 2 weeks, no side effects for me. Was amazing on the weeping blisters.
      Eucerin Working / Worked
      Eucerin Calming Itch-Relief lotion works long enough to take my mind off the itch.
      Hydrocortisone Not Working
      My doc said use OTC 1% HC on new flare-ups. Doesn't work for me.
