I am so sorry for what you are going through! It is the worst thing that i have ever had to deal with in my life! My husband's affair went on for 5 years! It still gives me chills when I say that out loud or write it in an email..on some level I still can't believe it!You can read my journal to find out about my journey...it's been 16 months since i found out and we are trying to reconcile... My prayers are with you. We also started a long term affair group if you would like to post a comment or question there....

I am a 41 year old woman, no kids, married almost 14 years. Eight months after being diagnosed with breast cancer I discovered that my husband had been cheating on me for 4 years with a "Christian" woman who lived less than 6 miles from our home. I have a lot of hard decisions to make right now and counseling does not seem to be helping me at all.

- Couples Counseling Not Working
- The counselor is a male and he does not see my side of the issue at all. He thinks I should be "over it" by now, it's only been 16 months.
