Single mom of a 7 and 15 year olds. Just graduated college. Working in a Veterinary Hospital and loving it. Don't know what I am really into since I have so been into the school thing for the last 2 years so I am excited to start a new life with my kids and the new careet that I am starting.

Close ADHD / ADD
I have a 7 year old son with ADHD and a 15 year old daughter with ADD. I feel like I am the one stuck in the middle sometimes. If they have had their meds they are normal kids. But when they to not take the meds my 15 year old it mouthy and very argumentative. My 7 year old is angry and mean. I feel stuck some days. I just gradutaed from college so I hope that the extra time I now get to be with them is a help with them also.
Treatments
- Adderall Working / Worked
- when my daughter was younger it was good
- Clonidine Working / Worked
- My son takes this to calm down to sleep with.
- Concerta Working / Worked
- Both of my kids are on this one.
- Music Working / Worked
- My kids both love music but they can ignore everything around them with it on.
- Strattera Somewhat Helpful
- This was the first one my daughter took. Medicaid would not pay for it after the first 5 months so we moved on to others.
Close Family & Friends of Cancer Patients
My mother died 18 1/2 years ago of Breast Cancer. I was not as close to her as my brother was. But I was the one there when she went through the 2 surgeries, 4 rounds of chemo, and 6 bouts of radiation treatments. May 20th makes 1 year since my father died from Bone Cancer. It is hard when I want a parent and there is not anyone for me to turn to in the role of my life now.
