Perhaps these medications are over-prescribed. There is not a blood test that can determine brain chemistry…

Support Groups
Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Treatments
- EMDR Too Soon to Tell
- I feel like it numbed the sensation for awhile but was emotionally exhausting.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- nice to vent, but hard because It's only once a week and not during extreme sadness or anxiety.
- Wellbutrin Somewhat Helpful
- It is really helping however I will probably lose my health insurance now and its very expensive.
Close Marijuana Addiction & Recovery
I was a pot smoker for 20 years. I quit March 21, 2008. My man and I were stopped at a "safety checkpoint" our car was searched, weed was found and we were arrested. I work in a busy, stressful ER, I am a single mom (widowed) and trying to finish nursing school. I used pot to relieve stress, and I loved to wander in the red rock desert, smoke pot and contemplate life. I have to quit if I am going to fulfill my dream of being a nurse. Right now i am in a daily random drug testing program.
