I am not totally uncomfortable..and some days are better than others. Some times I jump when I get touched by anyone and other times I am totally comfortable. Close Breakups & Divorce
I've been married to my childhood sweetheart for nearly 18 years. We have nothing in common, but an amazing daughter. It's time to move on.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Working / Worked
- We went to counseling 12 years ago, it helped for a while, but he's not willing to do it again.
- Pets Working / Worked
- I spend a lot of time with my horses and dogs. The give unconditional love and acceptance. It is very comforting.
- Support from Friends & Family Not Working
- I really don't have much of a relationship with my dad and 2 brothers. I think that's part of my problem in my marriage, I don't feel safe with men.
Close Healthy Relationships
I originally found DS for the Breakups and Divorce support. I recently filed for divorce from my husband of 18 years, a few days later we decided we were going to work things out. Things are wonderful but I have a couple of concerns.
Treatments

- We have a wonderful counselor who is helping us work through our issues.
