I am a mom of 2 beautiful boys, I have lived in South Florida my whole life. The sand and beach are definitely my speed... I could never imagine living anywhere else. I love boating, going to the beach, spending time with my family and friends. I also love to read, watch a good movie, shopping, anything that involves spending time with my 2 boys, and wonderful husband!!

Hello. I signed up for Daily Strength but have not yet used it. I was surprised to find that some people have tried to contact me. I am a recovering opiate addict, but have been taking suboxone for over a year. I want to give that up, as I have had 2 very long periods of sobriety and this period is nowhere near what I had before. I moved away from my support system 2 years ago, and since then, I have felt very alone. I have gone to meetings, but it has been difficult to connect with people on the same level as I did before. I need to find my way back to what I used to have, and perhaps using this website might help me do that. Thank you so much for sending me the hug. It meant a lot.

Close Prescription Drug Abuse
I am a 35 year old mother of 2 beautiful boys, I am happily married for almost 8 years, and I am addicted to pain medicine. It started about 5 years ago, and I dont really know how it started, I started taking my sister-in-laws medicine occasionally because I like the way it made me feel, it gave me energy, made me feel good, I was being super mom and getting all my work done, and then the habit became worse and worse... I was seeking the medicine wherever I could get it.
Treatments
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Too Soon to Tell
- I am just starting to attend NA meetings.
- Subutex Too Soon to Tell
- I have just seen a doctor and have started taking suboxen, I just started so it is too soon to tell... But I am feeling better and not suffering withdraw symptoms.
Close Depression
I have been diagnosed with mild depression, I am currently taking medicine that keeps it pretty much under control.
Treatments
- Celexa Working / Worked
- Celexa has worked excellent for me!!
