Close Pancreatitis
I was first diagnosed with Acute pancreatitis in July of 2007. It has developed into chronic pancreatitis. I will give a better story soon
Treatments
- Pancrelipase Too Soon to Tell
- I have just started to eat solid food after several months without being able to and am using Pancrease to add in the digestion of food. It seems to be working well altough I do get a great deal of pain when eating at times
- Hydromorphone Working / Worked
- I have moved around from different pain meds and this is the latest one to work for me. Latest dosage was 8mg every 3 hours... which to me is a lot.
Close Chronic Pain
I have chronic pancreatitis and am use a variety of narcotics for the treatment of pain. I am durrently using Dilaudid as it seems to be working the best. Previously I had been using liquid oxycodone.
Treatments
- Hydromorphone Working / Worked
- Am no longer taking any pain meds but as anyone know if you have a chronic condition everytime you stop taking these meds you go through withdrawl symptoms and I hate it.
