    My near 16 yr marriage to an alcoholic was ended officially on July 3rd, just in time for independence day. Coincidence?? My daughter and I will be moving into our apt soon and I'm starting an awesome new job next week!!!

        I wish someone could have told me/us what we where in for when we married addicts. I for one, had NO IDEA what that would mean for me, and my future kids, I didn't even understand really what Alcoholism was, can you drink sometimes? Yes, no? Boy did I get a crash corse.

        Hi, I wanted to wish you good luck on your move too! It's scary - I know! Our stories do sound alot alike......so I TOTALLY understand what you've been going through living with the ex and all! It was horrible for me, but I had no choice either. My kids HAD to finish the school year....I was not going to uproot them in the middle of the school year like the ex wanted me to! I hope all goes well for you and you find happiness starting over in your new life. Did you say you were moving to TN? It's beautiful there! Keep your chin up and stay positive!
