About Me
Hashimoto's hypothyroid and a tentative diagnosis for Lupus. Arthritis, deep pain in my palms, total exhaustion, edema, face rashes and low fevers, but so far seronegative. And now a flare of lesions in my eyelids, .. I just lost my job and insurance and I think I need a new rheumie after four years of not even getting to treatment stage. NSAIDS don't do squat and I need help fast.
Interests
I like to ride my bike around NYC, take naps with my cats, and play poker with my friends.

Close Hypothyroidism
I felt half-dead before I figured it out. I was exhausted but couldn't sleep, gained weight but lost my appetite completely, My resting temp was below 97, and I just fel like my brain wasn't working and I didn't really care about anything anymore. My brother was diagnosed with hashi's without even having symptoms, and once I looked it up, it all suddenly made sense. That was five years ago. Now nine members of my extended family have been diagnosed.
Treatments
- Armour Thyroid Working / Worked
- I find Naturethroid / Westroid to be noticeably better than Armour. I take 3.5 grains daily.
