About Me
My son survived Hodgkins Lymphoma 14 years ago after a miserable three years of chemo, radiation and finally a stemcell transplant. Now, he has heart/pulmonary complications caused by the very radiation and chemo that saved his life 14 years ago. At 22, he had to put his entire life on hold during treatment. Now, he's going to have to leave his job and go on disability while they try to figure out the best way to "manage" his heart and pulmonary disease. It just breaks my heart.
