About Me
I'm a 26 year old woman. I've been happliy married to my best friend for 4 years, and counting. We have been trying to have a baby since we were married with no luck. We're trying to focus on becoming foster parents while I work toward becoming an LPN. I can't wait to meet everyone and start mingling.
Interests
I loved..... LOVED being a housewife. Anything that has to do with keeping a home, I love. I like to read, sew clothes, crochet, cross stitch, knitting and all that jazz. I have been studing photography for years, unoffically of course. I'm always ready to try something new with a camera. I have an unhealthy addiction to recipe collecting and CSI.

ah I need many superwomen capes! LOL I have done 16 hr shifts in the past but beena while! I just have to work long hours when my SO is off to avoid child care so this is what makes sense. THX for the comment though:)

Close Infertility
I have been diagnosed with PCOS and have been TTC for four years now, with little luck.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- I did become pregant everytime, but ususally miscarried soon after pregnancy was confirmed due to hormone problems.
- Basal Thermometer Somewhat Helpful
- It showed my doctors that while the blood work showed I did ovulate, the truth was that I didn't.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- Clomid never failed to provide me with six or more viable eggs.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Use with Clomid to stiulate the eggs to be released. Otherwise I wouldn't ovulate
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Somewhat Helpful
- It showed that I had more problems than orginally thought, but can we all say.... OUCH!
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- Again...OUCH and the proceedure worked everytime, but as before miscarried soon after preganancy was confirmed.
- Metformin Working / Worked
- I currently take 1000mg a day and have been for years now. It does help with some of the PCOS symptoms
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- I had to take a synthetic progesterone in an attempt to maintain pregnancy, but my body is was too smart to be fooled by a fake. It didn't really help any.

My sister's rights to her daughter were striped due to her stupid behavior, and DCS gave my husband and I temporary custody of her.

Open Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I was diagnosed in nov of 2003 with pcos due to insulin resistance. With very few doctors in the area even knowing what pcos is I have been treated poorly for the condition. Also been through the ringer with fertility treatments. Nothing has worked and I just want to get a handle on the pcos "monster" and get it out of my body.
Treatments
- Clomid Not Working
- it was a waste of time and money
- Depo-Provera Not Working
- could be the root of pcos... doctor still to give me an answer
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- part of infertility treatments... it did work
- Metformin Working / Worked
- it helps but not much
- NuvaRing Working / Worked
- my favorite birth control... it's so convient
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- off and on many differnt types for years.
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- took during pregnacy due to a defficany. it did help some
- Repronex Working / Worked
- part of fertility treatments it did help some
- Vaniqa Working / Worked
- it helped some, but not much
