I am senior in college and was diagnosed in June of 06. The past two years have been pretty rough and several times i thought about leaving school and going back home. I try and stay positive and live a normal life, but it isn't always easy.

I’m With You
You are definately not in this alone...I do find it hard at times to be in a family having lupus...however it is possible and as with anything pertaining to lupus there are good days and bad days...the main thing for me that gets me through is to have a great support system such as family and friends that understand and can help you when you are having a bad day...mine has been my fiance' and my mom...Don't get me wrong it is tough but as I am sure that you know lupus has flares and remission periods and you just have to know how to maximize your time while your in remission...I def do...Hang in there...If you ever need to vent or if I can answer any questions pls feel free to contact me...xoxo
