Was your Mom sick? My Mom died in my home unexpectedly. Its hard to come to terms with. You get overwhelmed and a flood of emotions can stiffle you. It never goes totally away. Its been 7 years for me. It gets easier to cope in time. Stay on this site and express your feelings. Don't keep them bottled up. God Bless You and when times are hard, think what would Mom want me to do. There is a book called: 90 minutes in Heaven, by Don Piper that helped me. Reading those kinds of books helped me cope. Maybe they would help you too. Joy714

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my father last year and it still hurts. The loss of a parent is like a link in your chain has broken and you can't ever fix it. Please know you are not alone. There are people here who understand and care.

my mom died last tuesday she was only 54 and really the only thing I had in my life. Im 17 so I obviously dont have any kids but its hard and the hardest thing to come is the funeral and the final goodbyes. You can get through it and im here for you if you ever need anything!
