About Me
I am 49 years old and homeless. I have been homeless for three years. Two of those years off and were in Las Vegas. I most recently came to Salinas after I had traveled to Reno with a male companion and had him mistreat. An aquaintance took me in gave me a place to stay at the motel he was staying, never touched me and fed me. He brought me here where I could get into a shelter. The shelter is going to help obtain my ID so I can get assistance. I want to go back to work and get some form of housing besides a shelter. This shelter is actually in threat of being shut down because drugs are bad here. They believe some of the clients are bringing drugs in. I would love to have contact with others like me so I don't have to feel alone.
