I was just diagnosed in Dec. 2006 with SLE and Nephritis. All 8 days before Christmas. Great gift huh? LOL. I am still trying to get used to the fact that I have Lupus. I am the only one in my whole family to get it.
Treatments
- Cellcept Not Working
- My body rejected it
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I think its working.It has made my face bloat and change....that is the only bad thing I have experienced so far. No weight gain yet...hopefully none at all.
- Laughter Working / Worked
- "You can't drink after me....you might catch Lupus"
- Rituxan Somewhat Helpful
- Apparently it worked in killing the b cells. But after i had 2 treatments, i found out the very dangerous side effect that my doctor didn't inform me of.
- Azathioprine Too Soon to Tell
- Doctor decided to try this cause everything else didn't seem to be working
