is feeling Good
I am currently a full time caregiver to my beau of 9 years who was diagnosed with brain cancer in March, 2008. His treatments are going well but it is still a difficult prognosis. We are hoping for a remission and so far/so good.
Family and friends. Photography, writing, gardening (tough in the desert), the California desert, reading, music, baseball (the NY Mets), the internet, positive thinking as in "The Secret." Helping others! Miss my "former life" --laughing a lot and enjoying the outdoors -- active sports -- swimming and travel -- but believe that I will have it back one day.

Hey New Friend...How are you doing today?
Hi friend! Here's a hug for you!!! Sue
Thanks for writing. I've been swamped with raising baby birds lately. It's the season and it's a tedious job with the newborns. Many doves, mockingbirds and bluejays in particular. It's feels good when the time comes to release. The successes help make up for the sick and injured who don't make it.
I am a caregiver to my long term, 9 year, partner who was recently diagnosed with advanced lung to brain cancer.
My long-term significant other was diagnosed with lung to brain cancer about 8 weeks ago. I have been his caregiver 24/7 since that time. He has two grown children but they live in different parts of the country. It is very difficult to do everything that is required of me. I feel that I don't get enough support with my needs. He had full brain radiation and is now going through chemo. On May 20th, I believe, they will re-do the scans. I am hoping and praying that they have worked!
