Got my biopsy result on wednesday from the doctor, as at the moment I have no liver specialist. The one that I was seeing at the hospital has left so I have to wait for him to be replaced. The results the doctor told me were as follows:

Cirrhotic liver damage, chronic hepititis c ( whatever that means?), Hepititis is mild to moderatly active. The hospital cant say if the cerrhosis is caused by the hepititis or from alcohol, if it makes any difference as to how I got cerrhosis. I can only think that the liver will go on to develope different complications depending on whats caused the damage. Still don't know what genotype I am or if it is possible for me to have treatment. My skin is itching me to the point of madness. Think I will try scratching with the cheese grater next! The doctor gave me some stuff to put in the bath so I am going to give that a go. Just for one night in bed where I am not trying to tear my skin off before I go to sleep would be a dream right now.
