This one is Deanna's & the boys, he is such a good talker that I completely missed it when my KoKo first talked....duh!! Very different voices. Budgies are easier to make out, KoKo is v. gutteral, but oh so precious!!!
Hi there, This is a female budgerigar. You can tell by the brown (cere) above the beak. Males have blue ceres. The only exceptions are with lutinos (yellow birds with red eyes), albinos and some pieds. These are a little more difficult to sex due to the lack of pigment. Males are supposed to be better talkers, but I've had both talk.
