"SISTER'S VISIT" Mood

Well it is now 17 days until Sr. Maggie is here and begins 'the visit', as I've come to think of it!

Seeing as she just had major abdominal surgery she wisely, had decided to break the drive from WV into two days. Like many Americans (I've learned) she has never seen Niagara Falls!!! To we Ontarions, with it under 2 hours away this is beyond incredible! So this became the place of choice to end lap one of the drive up into Canada. And you know, spring comes late here and so we shall be well into Apple Blossom season here in Ontario at the time she arrives! They even run bus excursions to Niagara just to view the absolutely vast acherage of fruit trees dressed in all their splendid pastel shades of Spring!

So, what better reason to decide that it would be the hospitable thing to do, to meet her in Niagara and be her navigator for the last lap of her drive!! So being the noble soul that I am, I leave here on the 28th (16days & counting) by bus & meet Sister at the Niagara Falls Bus Depot 2hrs & 20min later! This way I get to witness her first experience of our "third wonder of the world" and enjoy the anual spring blossoms as well!

It's beginning to feel like the preparations for 'the visit' maybe as noteworthy as the visit itself!

Our dear friend Rena, verbalized my dearest wish on the phone, saying "why aren't you just bringing Suki with us?" As though it was the most natural thing in the world for anyone to do with a blind pussy cat!!! So once more I'm extatic and the preparations are ongoing..........................................to be continued.

Oh isn't that Rena wonderful!! I was worried about asking who would be looking after Suki. Sr. will love Niagara of course it is always a wonderous site no mater how many times I have seen it. I'm so glad you get to meet her there. There is nothing like sharing an experience. It will be here before you know it.

That would be a wonderful thing to do. And it would certainly put your mind at rest as I know that going and leaving him would have you concerned about how he was doing without you. So is he going with you?

Yep, that means suki is going with us!! And I am now truly getting excited! For sure it will be here before we know it, but I don't want to rush it as that means it would be all the sooner over!! Anticipation is at least half the fun of these things I am convinced!!!
