We didn't realise the animal shelter is only open from 10AM to 2:30 PM each day, so we missed taking our four "extra" cats there today. I'm okay with this. The next day we might be able to get there will be Tues or Wednesday, we think, because of Greg's work and our appointments. So we have eight cats for a long weekend still. :0) It would have been hard to say goodbye to them now for me.

I didn't go to Elizabeth's funeral. It would have been a two hour drive each way, total four hours to get back for Greg's work this evening. All three of us are ill with this virus. Kiki's much better, but still coughing sometimes. Greg looks so ill, and is being so brave going to work. He gets no sick time off at this particular job though, so he has to go. I feel sooo sorry for him!!!! My love!! I'm doing best of all of us. Just scratchy throat, and occasionally sore ears. I'm not getting worse. Cross fingers!! ;0)

I got a lot done today- a big overdue food shop, some food-preparations, washing, putting clothes away, etc!

Our car's brakes are fixed, actually the two front ones are replaced. :0)
